Public/Private Partnerships

collaborateCOLLABORATE...

Now is the time to act together. New partnerships are the answer.

Governments, business, science and educators have set the mark for carbon reductions and to enhance cultural and social heritage by 2020. Great strides have been made for travel and tourism. After seven years of effort, a partnership of trusted conservationists and business leaders have formed.  The industry is setting the standards. Creating the measurements. And acting on  environmental protection and social enhancement  in new and complementary ways.

ACT...

Today, Robin Tauck & Partners has a mission: To lead, inspire, and assist global governments and the travel industry to act on urgently needed sustainable travel practicies..

Already we are working on the development of public/private partnerships that include governments, NGOs, private enterprise and the public. The goal is to promote rapid education, awareness and learning on all levels in the following arenas:

EVOLVE...

The travel industry must evolve. Sustainability calls for new thinking, smart economic changes and a triple bottom line—with economic, social and environmental benefits for all. Progressive leaders must heed the call.

There is, arguably, no greater force for change. With $6 billion, 900 million arrivals and 230 million people behind it, tourism now drives history’s greatest shift of wellbeing from developed to emerging nations. UNEP reports tourism can provide 70% of GDP in developing countries, bringing an unprecedented opportunity for education, health and wellbeing for all nations. It’s the right thing to do.
